Ice Area
The ice area is the heart of our program. All sizes are available. A width/length relationship of 1:2 is ideal. The best usage of the area is achieved when the length and width can be divided by 2,5.

Skateway
A dream path made from ice! As an extension to the ice rink the AST Skateway enhances its attractiveness. The flexible Skateway ice mats allow awesome designs with curves as well as slopes. Go ahead and invite your skaters to an excursion – entertainment is guaranteed!

Boards/Ice Area Borders
Wood
A simple and comely solution in country-look. We recommend that the height of the border be independent from the ice rink size- The greater the ice rink the higher the border!

PE Border
Consisting of a hot-galvanized steel construction with polyethylene planked boards and PE railings.

PC Border
The construction is the same as that of the PE border but the PC Border is assembled using transparent polycarbonate boards.
Looks comely and light - especially with smaller ice areas. The white PE border can be easily combined with the transparent PC border.

Ice Hockey Boards/Dashers
For the implementation of ice hockey games, AST provides ice hockey dasher boards. These boards conform to the guidelines of the IIHF (International Ice Hockey Federation). Spectator real-glass protection as well as player, penalty and jury benches are included.

Ice Maintenance
Ice maintenance equipment can also be rented from AST. The type and size of the required equipment is determined by the size of the ice rink as well as the rental duration.
Ice Scraper
An aluminum ice scraper with a steel blade for ice maintenance per hand is included with every rental ice rink. Width; 120m
Edger
Gas motor powered edger with a blade width of 33cm recommended for the ice rink board edge.
Self-propelled ice maintenance machine
Essential for ice rinks over 600m2. With this professional ice maintenance machine, the ice is shaved and water is applied to the surface.
A super ice quality is guaranteed! Should the ice become too thick, the machine can shave the surface down to the optimal thickness. Thick ice causes unnecessary energy consumption.
Accessories
Skating Assistant
Our skating assistant Ice Penguin and Ice Panda are dearly loved by children. Made of hard synthetic material and furnished with hand grips and skis. A playful way to learn how to skate with a high fun factor.
Skates
AST rental skates in all sizes including stable aluminum racks. The racks serve as transport and storage stands. Hence you have a lock on your skate rental. 35 pairs of skates = 1 aluminum rack
Icestock Set
Icestock curling is becoming more popular and has evolved from a Bavarian Volks-sport to an international favorite due to our rental ice rinks!

The ice-stocks are durable hobby stocks with a galvanized steel ring and plastic grip.
After usage the running boards and ice-stocks must be dry-stored separately.
Rubber Flooring
Rubber plates 116x 78cm with puzzle connections. For the construction of a protective walking area between the locker room and ice rink. One unit consists of 25 plates = approx. 22,50m2
Defrost Heating
Mobile heating units to melt the ice rink after rental expiration. We can defrost your ice area even at low temperatures. The unit is connected and supervised on site by a AST mechanic.
