Synthetic artifical ice rink with a wax basis operates without electricity
On Saturday, May 12, 2012 in Weinfelden/Thurgau, an AST Skate Run artificial ice rink was formally opened. The 12 x 24 meter ice rink consists of special sheets, which are coated with a hard wax surface and can be treated just like a real ice rink. The ice skating attributes are stunningly similar to that of real ice. An AST Skate Run ice rink operates without electricity or refrigeration unit.
