Ice Quality in the St. Jakob Stadium Basel
Ice Hockey World Championship from May 1-17, 1998
The Swiss Ice Hockey Federation – especially the players of the national A team were very positively surprised at the ice quality during the Ice Hockey World Championship!
In spite of the occasional high temperatures in the stadium, the ice fulfilled the expectations placed on a A class World Championship completely! This was even more remarkable since this was a mobile rink which met with a certain amount of expected skepticism before the championship began.
We want to thank you very much for your teamwork and look forward to training and playing in the future on AST Ice.
